In response to the coronavirus, Impulse Theatre issues the following guidelines for classes, rehearsals, and shows. This guidelines will be updated as and when needed.

Guidelines for audience members

  1. If you feel unwell, please do not attend.
  2. If you have had close contact with someone who has been identified as having coronavirus, please do not attend.
  3. As an extra precaution, and especially if you are coming from a busy public space, we recommend using the bathroom facilities to wash your hands on arrival.
  4. Follow current hygiene practices, including...
    • Covering coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or coughing/sneezing into your elbow.
    • Disposing of used tissues appropriately in a bin.
    • Washing hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water and drying them thoroughly, or using hand sanitiser.

General guidelines for ALL performances, classes and workshops

  1. If you feel unwell, please do not attend.
  2. If you have had close contact with someone who has been identified as having coronavirus, please do not attend.
  3. If you have recently come in from overseas (in the last 14 days), please do not attend.
  4. As an extra precaution, and especially if you are coming from a busy public space, we recommend using the bathroom facilities to wash your hands on arrival.
  5. Avoid direct contact between hands and faces. I.e. avoid hand-to-hand, hand-to-face, and face-to-face contact.
  6. Follow current hygiene practices, including...

Drop-in class

  1. Check the Meetup event. If the class has to be cancelled because the teacher is unwell, it will be noted here.
  2. Provide the teacher with your contact details (email and/or mobile), will allow the teacher to contact you if the class has to be cancelled at the last minute.

Monday workshops

  1. Check your text messages. If the class has to be cancelled because the teacher is unwell, you will be advised by text.
  2. Ensure that your contact details are up to date.
