“Circle Song” – A workshop in improvised vocal music making & scene work with Linda Calgaro
Making music in improv doesn’t just have to be about ‘song’ or improvised musicals.
Come and explore ‘Circle Singing’ as musician and improv theatre maker Linda Calgaro takes us through fun exercises in group listening, vocal exploration & jamming.
We’ll learn easy ways to create melody, how to work with and create harmony, how to hear and accept musical offers and in general, how to have fun playing with your inner Rock Star and/or Funk Meister! Later we’ll link the music and improvised scene work and explore how each can influence the other.
This workshop promises an experience of listening, connection and playfulness, energy and good times, where we’re all singing together like one body in resonance. Which sounds terrible – NOT. And you don’t have to be a great singer to attend.
